Meet the Animals

Meet the Animals

Every animal here has a name, a personality, and a story of their own. Shaggy Highland cattle, a hug-loving mini donkey, a mischievous crew of goats, quiet Babydoll sheep, and a very talkative flock of ducks and chickens. This is the crew that turned a forgotten 20 acres into a home.

Real animals. Real personalities. ♥

Meet a Few Special Friends

Big Personalities in a Small Pasture

A few of the faces you will get to know first, and the little habits that give each of them away.

Titan, the white Highland bull calf

Titan

Highland Bull Calf

Our loving Highland bull calf, all shaggy white hair and gentle curiosity. He follows you along the fence line just to see what you are up to.

Hunny, the yellow Highland cross momma cow, enjoying a slice of watermelon

Hunny

Highland Cross Momma Cow

Yellow, a little spicy, and a very big eater. Hunny has opinions about everything, and she is still the best momma on the place.

Wendy, the miniature donkey

Wendy

Miniature Donkey

Sweet, gentle, active and very vocal. Wendy will tell you she is happy to see you long before you reach the gate.

The goats enjoying a watermelon treat

Watermelon is their favourite for sure.

The B Crew

The Goats

BamBam, Bella, BB, Blossom and Buttercup: the curious B crew. Playful, mischievous and completely convinced that every fence, feeder and rabbit pen on the property was built for climbing and investigating.

Babydoll sheep grazing and resting in the pasture

Quiet corner of the pasture, all day long.

The Quiet Ones

The Babydoll Sheep

Ruby, Rachel and Robin keep to their own end of the pasture. Grazing, relaxing, and quietly lowering everyone else’s blood pressure while the rest of the farm carries on.

The Noisy Crew

Ducks & Chickens

The quacking crew runs the pond: water, waddling and very loud conversations from morning to night. The feathered farm crew works the yard, scratching through the straw and lining up for tomatoes, blueberries, cantaloupe and watermelon.
