A Neglected Farm and a Big Dream

We bought the farm with a simple goal: restore the land, get some farm animals and create a place where country life could be lived and enjoyed every day.

There were plenty of challenges along the way. Fences needed to be added, fields needed mowing, and there was always another project waiting around the corner. And, as the farm grew, there were now animals to care for: cows, goats, sheep, ducks, chickens, and a few characters who quickly became a part of our family.

The Beginning

2018 — Taking the Leap

It all began in 2018, when two city dwellers took a leap of faith and purchased 20 acres of overgrown land. With little farming experience but plenty of determination, they set out to turn a neglected property into a place they could proudly call home. What started as a crazy idea soon became a land filled with love….

Building the Farm

2020 — Repairs & Lessons

From clearing overgrown land and repairing fences to improving the farmhouse, barn, driveway, and animal areas, there was always another project waiting. Every challenge brought something new to learn, and every completed task helped transform the once-neglected property into the growing farm they had dreamed of….

Bringing Farm Animals

2022 — family grew bigger

As the farm began to take shape, chickens, ducks, sheep, and cattle became part of the growing family. Each new arrival brought its own personality, daily routines, and adventures. Caring for the animals added a whole new chapter to farm life, filling ordinary days with laughter, learning, and unforgettable moments.

More Than a Farm Story

We started with very little farming experience but a lot of heart. Along the way, we learned to embrace the messy moments, celebrate every step forward, and find joy in watching our farm slowly come to life. Looking back, we can see just how far we’ve come — and this is where our story begins.
